But what an assist it was.

The Aussie star picked up the ball at the top of the arc before taking it towards the left edge of the free-throw line.

With the ball in hand, he initially faked a pass to Jaylin Williams, who had made a run behind Giddey’s defender.

However, Giddey then moved the ball behind him and laid a bounce pass around his back and into the path of Williams who then made the easiest of lay-ups.

Several NBA fans shared their astonishment on social media.

It was one of the few bright spots on an otherwise bleak evening for the Thunder.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander yet again led the point scoring tally with 29, but no other teammate was able to crack 20-plus points.

As for the Raptors, power forward Pascal Siakam notched a team-leading 25 points with supersub Gary Trent Jr. posting 23 points of his own.

The defeat to the Raptors snapped the Thunder’s three-game win streak and dropped their record to 34-36, while Toronto improved to the same record.
